CureXcel is a mobile app with the mission to make lifestyle medicine available to as many people as possible at an affordable rate and in the long-term to uproot diseases through lifestyle changes, eliminating both symptoms and side-effects.

1/1 The Client

Dr. Chidi is an award-winning medical doctor, whose goal is to show everyone how adjusting lifestyle changes can potentially reverse lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer and others.

1/2 The Challenge

While Dr. Chidi’s message is a powerful one, time constraints limit him from serving a larger client base. The novelty service that he currently offers as a 1-on-1 consultancy is expensive and as such, his method remains little known to the masses.

1/3 The Solution

Removing the variable of time would reduce cost and thereby achieve scalability and so, we proposed building automated platform that would give subscription based access to his lifestyle programs through drip content. So we proposed a strategy for a cross-platform app development based on flutter and firebase that would serve both Android and Apple users. Through this app, Dr. Chidi’s customized lifestyle plans would be made available to users. While the free version of the app would disseminate exclusive content by the doctor and a generic lifestyle wellness program, the paid version would have customized lifestyle plans focused on reversing the 9 chronic lifestyle diseases based on the users’ age and demographics. Furthermore, customized lifestyle plans based on demographics and disease would be added to the database to fetch more accurate results based on user input in the vein of compensating this online platform for not seeing the doctor in person. The app would be regularly updated with free content as a means of lead generation.

This platform would address a two-fold agenda, where Dr. Chidi’s lifestyle medicine becomes accessible 24×7 at a much more affordable rate, and the doctor’s passion to share this life-saving message to a worldwide client base gets a powerful outlet. If both offline and online marketing channels are utilized (such as referral partnerships, workshops, word-of-mouth and utilizing social media targeted ads, e-mail/SMS marketing campaigns) it would give the app the exposure it needs going forward. Another suggested channel for this app is going into bilateral partnerships with diagnostic centers, genetics testing labs or other health advisors who could refer their clients to subscribe to the lifestyle program. Then the key metrics or app success rate could be measured by number or user registrations, downloads per month and the number or user retention would indicate revenues generated.
